A Green Environment, Green Food, Green Energy as well as Green Behaviours and Habits will be the key drivers in the future for sustainable living. Thus, creating an awareness of the rising global demand for Green Education, Green Skills and a new generation of Green-collar workers among our youth, is important.
Having realized these limitless prospects, the growing Green revolution and its relevance to the progressive development of Sri Lankan youth, the organizers of EDEX took an important initiative to support 'GO GREEN' as a core value in the year 2010/2011.

Transport using fossil fuel is considered one of the main contributors to climate change. The increasing number of cars on the road and air travel each year is only making it worse |

Humans dump 16 billion tons of waste into the oceans each year. Solid waste is not only hazardous to our health but also pollute our soil and water |
